Happy 100th Birthday Rosa Parks!!!

parks“I had no idea that history was being made. I was just tired of giving up.”

-Rosa Parks

I was just tired of giving up. I can imagine but I have no real depth of knowing what that situation was like or would be like. Imagine other people treating you worse then a dog on the street at times. The vulgarity of someone speaking to you like you where unworthy. She was courageous and she did what her spirit told her to do. She stood up and did the right thing and it became a beacon of lightning and simple but courageous feat that stood as a rallying cry for the civil rights movement.

What is your purpose? What do you stand for? How do you make a stand?

1st what moves you?

What inspires you?

What motivates you? To have an opinion, to create a place of action.

Focus is a big word. There are so many distractions in the world and our personal worlds that one day you wake up and your 70 years old and you wondered what you did with your life.

What moves me is creating a company that has something to say and share.

I’ve based RadUncle and my other RadMedia Companies (OVERGive,Radkids) on these simple principles

1. You’re A Miracle

just to be here, a billion or more sperm compete to get to your mama’s egg and you and i made it. we competed and won the ultimate amazing race. so, that makes us a miracle. right from the get go!

2. Follow Your Radness

What inspires you? What makes you get out of bed? Why are you thirsty to create something special? Inside this we tick for something more

3. Rad, wasn’t built in a day

Life is a kraft. It takes time to be your dream. Life’s a journey not a destination. To build it starts with learning your about your kraft and that kraft is your life.

Rosa Parks for me is a person that had will and conviction. She knew that she had to do something and she did what she could and it was very simple but in that simplicity of not moving from her seat in the bus she made history and history made her as her story is now known throughout the world as one of the great civil right starting points in our modern history.
