I was only trying to get home from work – Rosa Parks

 

Rosa Parks was 42 years old in December, 1955 and this particular day would make history in the civil rights movement and be a symbolic time for American History.

Rosa Parks sat in the front of the bus where only white people where allowed to sit…Mrs.Parks was tired from a long day at work and sat in the front of the bus…This was not heard of in 1955 in the South..Mrs. Parks was breaking a law that needed to be challenged, Changed and Fought and she did.
